A Digital-to-Ananlog Converter (DAC) is used to convert digital signals representing the music sounds,

coming from a computer,

or a CD player, or any other digital multimedia into an analog music signal.

Our device is built around the NOS DAC with R-2R ladder structure.

Such structure is widely used, and is implemented in the industry standard DAC’s AD1865 and PCM1700.

To reduce the phase noise in the DAC circuitry, an oversampling oscillator is used.

The oscillator utilizes a very stable 40MHz crystal oscillator.

Digital filtration is not use.

The output stage is built using a tube 6Э6П (D3a, E810CC) with power provided by the kenotron 6Ц5С(6Х5).

As an option, the tube Е180СС or ЕСС88 can be installed.
